Amy and Matt chose to have their wedding somewhere that everyone would feel comfortable, The Unitarian Universalist Church in Rockford, Illinois. Not only did everyone feel comfortable and welcome, but every person in attendance couldn't help but smile, laugh and maybe even shed a tear of joy during their wedding ceremony.
After their wedding ceremony, we made our way to one of Amy and Matt's favorite outdoor places in Rockford: the little known gem that is Rockford Arboretum. While battling waves of high school students posing for homecoming pictures with their parents' cell phones, we found a few spots all our own for some portraits. Afterwards, we headed over to IBEW for the reception to begin. With a Dungeons and Dragons theme, it was truly Amy & Matt through and through, and we didn't even have to herd any cats.
