Throughout their wedding day, Lindsey and Mike were both full of laughter and couldn’t stop smiling every time they saw each other. I started photographing their day at St. Bridgett’s Catholic Church in Loves Park, Illinois with Lindsey finishing getting ready. Once they were both ready, we slipped into the church gardens for their first look. I loved how excited they both were to see each other and take a few minutes to themselves. After lots of smiles, laughter and a few tears of joy, they took a few minutes for prayer in the chapel. After a love-filled wedding ceremony, it was time to get the party started. The wedding party hopped onto the bus to kick things off on the way to the gorgeous DC Estate Winery in South Beloit, Illinois. What followed was a few shots of Fireball, lots of laughs, hugs and a few more laughs. With cocktail hour winding down, it was time for some cake cutting…and smashing of course.
