Nikki + Kyle Loft 28 West | Aurora, IL Wedding Photographer
From my first call with Nikki & Kyle, I knew their wedding day would be special. They were both involved in our conversations and talked about how much they loved each other. They even warned me that they would both be crying…all day long. Nikki & Kyle also made a wonderful decision to have a wedding coordinator. Ashley from The Simple Elegant Group was amazing. She helped plan & organize the day and we worked together on their wedding day so well I can’t wait to work with her again!
Their wedding day started with the guys and girls getting ready at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Aurora which was just around the block from the gorgeous Loft 28 West. Following lots of laughter, fun and a few tears, it was time to head over to Loft 28 West for Nikki & Kyle’s first look. Having their friends be present (but just out of sight) for their first look was important for both of them so their friends and Nikki’s identical twin sister could be part of their wedding day. After all the tears, smiles and laughs of their first look, we went outside and enjoyed the warm sun on a November day for some photos before the ceremony began. Their wedding ceremony was truly magical. From the flowers, candles, and chandeliers to all of their friends and family surrounding them it took your breath away. After more tears, hugs, and smiles it was official, they were pronounced Dr. and Dr.
Following their ceremony, Nikki & Kyle snuck away to be alone and let it all soak in while their guests and wedding party enjoyed the cocktail hour downstairs in the amazing Ballydoyle Irish pub which is just below the Loft 28 West. Ashley and her team from The Simple Elegant Group got the room switched over from ceremony to reception space, with time for Nikki & Kyle to get the first look of their wedding reception before any guests came upstairs. After letting all the months of planning and decisions soak in, Nikki & Kyle welcomed each of their guests up as they entered the room for their 2nd cocktail hour. From there it was time for heartfelt speeches, filled with more happy tears and smiles. That was followed by dinner and dancing that had the floor bouncing with the crowd!
